Welcome to the 2007 Amnesty Series at Rawdon´s 17th century Quaker Meeting House. We invite you to join us in a feast of music and theatre.
Admission is free with a voluntary collection, all of which is passed on to Amnesty International for their work in supporting the cause of human rights around the world
It’s a special pleasure once again to open our series with a concert by this well-loved baroque ensemble who will delight us once more with a choice of vocal and instrument offerings.
We are delighted to welcome three outstanding musicians, Miaoyin Qu (pianist from China), Ilias Devetzogluo (violinist from Greece) and Pavlos Hoplaros (violinist from Cyprus) who will play popular favourites by Vivaldi, Kreisler, and Ravel..

We are thrilled that this hugely popular choir from Nottingham is able to make a return visit to this year’s series. They appear fresh from appearances on TV and festivals and will take us on a musical repertoire from madrigals to the Beatles. company in a wonderful, pre-tour production full of magic, music and song.
Just back from the Ukraine, oboist Elizabeth and composer- pianist Richard will guide us across cultures and centuries to bring, as always, a wonderful, contrasting array of music for woodwind and piano.!
